Wu Lingzhi has a doctorate in art from Tsinghua University, a master's degree in design art from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, a senior provincial craftsman, and an artist of ceramics and glass in the United States.
Wu Lingzhi respects the natural characteristics of various creative materials, makes breakthroughs and innovations based on the essence of traditional craftsmanship and culture, and integrates contemporary creative language and aesthetics in order to create artworks with material beauty, craft beauty, Chinese cultural symbols and dialogue with contemporaries and the international community. His works have been exhibited in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. His works have won several national and provincial gold and silver awards for arts and crafts, and have been selected for the "China Contemporary Arts and Crafts Biennial" held by the China Museum and the first "Beijing International Design Triennial".
