2011

The Revolution of 1911 is design by the head of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Art——Mr. Li Ming, in memory of the 100th anniversary of the victory of 1911 evolution. The relief locates in Zhongshan, hometown of Sun yat-sen.

The artist used a new trick of relief instead of the traditional one. Applying printmaking skill to the figure, along with positive and negative shape on Chinese characters, highlights the spirit of grittiness of our vanguards in this revolution.
